black-ish Returning for its 8th and Final Season on ABC

ABC has renewed the Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award-nominated comedy series black-ish from ABC Signature for its eighth and final season. black-ish takes a fun yet bold look at one man's determination to establish a sense of cultural identity for his family. The series continues to tell stories that shine a light on current events through the lens of the Johnson family; and during the seventh season, they addressed the global pandemic, voting, systemic racism, and the movement for social justice and equality. 

ABC's black-ish was created by Kenya Barris and is executive produced by Barris, Courtney Lilly, Laura Gutin Peterson, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland, E. Brian Dobbins and Michael Petok. The series is produced by ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios.

In the Season 7 finale "Urban Legend," airing TUESDAY, MAY 18 (9:00-9:30 p.m. EST), Dre feels pigeonholed to the urban marketing team at Stevens & Lido and realizes he needs to make some big career changes. Boyz II Men stop by the office to help out the team with a SoFi campaign pitch. Meanwhile, Junior has to deal with the twins who are overstaying their welcome at his and Olivia's apartment on an all-new episode of "black-ish" on ABC.
