English muffins from scratch
Whether you eat them in breakfast sandwich form or just with butter and jam, there’s no breakfast food more iconic than an English Muffin—but did you know they’re simple enough to make from scratch? While only a few individuals know the closely guarded recipe for achieving the perfect nooks and crannies, follow along as Jessica Lugo (@bakemepretti) makes ones that are just as good, if not BETTER than the original! What you’ll need:- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast- 1 tsp sugar- 1 cup water- 3 2/3 cups flour- 1 tsp salt- 2/3 cup plain yogurt1/3 cup cornmeal- 2 tbsp vegetable oilFollow along and don’t forget to use #DontScratch to show us how yours turned out!
